I served here one summer on a short term trip and have seen first hand what they do for the orphans they bring in from the dump heaps and the people all over Port-Au-Prince.
The man who started the orphanage, Papa Cassy, is a wonderful and humble follower of Jesus and has been raising little ones to know Him for many many years. Please be praying for all of them as there is a good chance they are all very hungry still and possibly hurt.
We did hear that after the first and largest quake that Papa Cassy himself and the children are safe but all communication was cut before the many after shocks.
Please pray also for my friend Chrispin who is a student here in KY but who grew up as an orphan at Good Shepherd. His heart is longing to make it home.
