I've been thinking about some questions to ask some wonderfully wise and much more experienced woman than myself and thought you all might like to glean from their thoughts also. First is none other than my own mother. Who else better to start us off? I hope to post one of these each week, we'll see.
The first question is taken from an E. Fitzpatrick book I'm reading. This is asked in regard to marriage- "What can I do to bring a godly joy into our relationship?
The Momma- "Sit quietly beside him regardless of what he is doing for at least 30 minutes twice a week. If he is reading just sit next to him and read. If he is watching a stupid mindless irritating….opps….TV show just sit and watch with him for a time. If he is working on the computer just draw up a chair and quietly watch him work….you get the idea."

Excellent ideas from the Momma! DUH are we suprised? The only one I won't do is the computer one because Tony thinks that is stalking. Drives him nuts.... HMMMMMM
This is a great idea, Krissy! I hope you keep it up. Anyway, I think Brian and I have the opposite problem. We need more time apart but it's hard since neither one of us have any family in the area. Not that I'm complaining...just healthy to get away for a while.
Margie~you two and your water fights. Honestly, you should come up with something to do with your time together that DOESN'T end with throwing water at one another.
Meeg~John would feel the same way if I was just watching. Maybe read a book in the same room? I'm not the expert here. Let me know if you come up with something.
I find playing mindless online games on my computer to be very satisfactory..... However, the hubby does not.
The challenge here is the word, "quietly". Now there's a trick...
Will have to fast for strength to carry this one out!
