Why does it have to take up time when I think I should be doing "other things" to play with my sweet children outside? Wrapping in blankets to enjoy a chilly but sunny morning...
examining fingernails to figure out why the sand removes fingernail polish... 
Enjoying the picking (not eating-radishes are for daddy) of our first fresh veggies from the garden...
Or just tromping around with a spade, looking for things to dig. 
I love it outside. Not in the North Face, mountain climbing, pee in the woods kind of way. In the sit out in the yard and examine flowers for bugs, jump from stone to stone in a creek bed, climb a tree kind of way.
