The Timeless Struggle of Men :-)

John Patrick said (with quite a bit of exasperation for the first hour of the day) to Dora this morning as we were headed to the breakfast table:

"Dora! You have so many words! You can't just say all those! You can't just fling them all out of your mouth!"

The men from the Areopagus Center in Romania are staying with John and I. Each time they come they like to take advantage of our department store sales and shop for their families. You should see the poor men trying to purchase pants for their wives!!
Do any of you know of any great sales starting next week? They don't do the outlets because of time constraints and because they're men. :-) Please let me know if you have any great secrets.

Juice Plus Children's Study

Here's the thing with Juice Plus, I started taking it a year and a half ago after being told about it for 3 years from lots of people I knew and respected. John and I were sceptical but finally researched it and the rest is history. I started selling it because I figured if I only needed 5 people to buy it I might as well because it would cover some cost and I tell people about it regularly anyway.

Is it expensive for fruits and veggies? Yes, but honestly, who doesn't spend 43 random dollars a month on something(s) they really want anyway? And it's prevention people, only God knows what it will save us in the end. (And you can check my theology on this one with pastor Brad because he takes it too, ha!) I won't get into that it's not the point of my post. :-)
Now... who knew it would be harder to share about it after I signed up because all the sudden I'm afraid people think I just want to make a buck. darn. BUT, I'm really too thrilled about the children's study not to share.
John Patrick seems to have a weaker immune system for whatever reason and that effects his asthma because where a cold is, there is asthma. But, Juice Plus is clinically proven to strengthen the immune system by purely fruits and vegetables. SO, a wonderful friend who just started taking Juice Plus offered to sign John Patrick up under her name so now he can take it for FREE!!! yeah! In the current children's health study being done 56% of the kids have been to the doctor less!

wonderful, glorious sleep

Tuesday night I went to bed at 11pm and my alarm woke me at 6:15. that was all. nothing happened in between those hours except the sweet dreams in my head. Do you all understand the wonderful feeling that it was to wake up in the same position I fell asleep in?
Last night I wondered if it was possible to pull it off twice. Not a chance. Oh, well. I'll take it.

From last month

I don't want to forget these little sayings of my kids. This blog is a great way to remember. This was said before a wedding we attended last month.

Me: "Are you guys excited to go to the wedding?"

Kids: "Yeah!"

Dora: "I want to see the bride and her princesses!"

JP: "I just want to see the cake."
