From the first day she was a content, calm baby.
At one year old she was a momma's girl and we were attached, most of the day, at the hip. She was my buddy. So sweet, so happy. Just enjoying the ride.
Then she hit about 17 months. :-) Still just as sweet, still my little buddy but made up for some serious time lost with the whole "content to see the world from my mom's hip" business. She became explorer extraordinaire! Curious about the way anything and everything felt and what was around any corner.

She seemed to jump from a two year old to a four year old in about 3 months. Having older siblings will do that I think. She is a very smart little girl and can't be fooled by any amount of reverse psychology babble. Still loves to cuddle and the longer the better. I love the way she exhales (the way you would after a nice long drink) when I give her a long strong hug. It recharges her.
And now she really is four. She loves "mommy time" each day. She is learning letters and numbers. She still loves to cuddle. She is sensitive and focused. I can't overload her but she loves to accomplish a task and show what a big kid she is.
So, those are some thoughts of the first four years of enjoying Anella. Our precious little Sweetie Pie Crash.
